FAQ

Does my statement really never leave my device?

Yes. Reading the PDF, parsing transactions, and building the Excel or CSV file all happen in your browser — open DevTools → Network and watch for yourself: no request ever carries your file or its contents. What you will see: page assets, anonymous usage events (event names only — never your data), a license check when you use a subscription key, and Stripe requests when you pay.

Which banks work?

Capital One and Bank of America are verified against real statements. Chase, Wells Fargo, and Citi have tuned presets, and any text-based statement works through the generic reader — and if the automatic read gets a column wrong, the built-in column mapper lets you fix it in seconds.

Scanned statements?

No. A scanned statement is an image, and reading it would require OCR — which means uploading it somewhere. We won't do that, so we tell you honestly up front if your file looks scanned instead of taking your money for something that won't work.

What do I get?

A clean spreadsheet with Date, Description, Amount, and Balance columns, exported as .xlsx or .csv — whichever you pick.

Refunds?

Payment only happens after you've already seen your preview, so you know what you're getting before you pay. If an export comes out broken, email the address on your Stripe receipt and we'll sort it out.
